Background
My name is Zack Shankman and I’m a 24 year old Computer Game Design student at George Mason University. My passion and expertise both lie in systems design. I’ve been playing video games my whole life, but the majority of my time was spent optimizing and breaking most of them. I’ve always loved learning everything down to the smallest detail about gameplay mechanics, movement, economies, progression, and other such systems, trying to figure out how they work internally and how I can use them as efficiently as possible. I try to bring this love of in-depth mechanics and well designed systems into every project I work on.
Current Experience
Currently all of my development work has gone into personal and school projects. I am proficient in Unity, Unreal Engine 5, 3DS Max, and FLStudio, and experienced with programming in C#, C++, Java, and basic Python.
